This Auris Glockenspiel is Diatonic with 12 tones made of brass alloy and a wooden body of maple wood. The tones are: c-d-e-f-g-a-b-c-d-e-f-g. It comes with two mallets, one wood and one with a rubber head. Choose the mallet according to the sound you desire.
The brass tone blocks are coated with a fine layer of beeswax and nothing else. The beeswax creates a mild, natural gloss on the brass. It also allows you to restore the shining surface yourself when it gets darker over time.
The wood part has a shellac priming and is finished with a beeswax polish. This gives a soft feeling and is easy to protect and preserve. This glockenspiel is about 12 1/2" by 4 1/2". Made in Sweden.
