As others mentioned, shocking hazard. The advertising pictures make us think they are bigger the they really are. Probably the images are photoshopped. Also the seller hide the recommended age in the pictures of the boxIn one of the products picture it looks like it's a adult hand holding the egg. I took a picture of my hand holding it.Also they say it measures 46mm and I took a picture showing it is 26mm!!I do not recommend even for unsupervised 3+ yo, this seller should be banned from amazonThe colors come out very faint, not at all vibrant or bold as children like. Even if you press down- which leads me to the other issue. My son is a big, strong toddler and, even when he press down the colors are still extremely faint. They also, apparently, look appetizing and he pops them in his mouth (the whole egg fits in a toddlers mouth) and, while they don’t deposit color, little teeth can shave it off. My older son (3) doesn’t care for them either because of the extremely faint color. Don’t waste your money mommies.Update:This company has contacted me several times regarding my negative review. They've offered me my money back in exchange for a positive one or to delete this one. Not gonna happen. Just thought potential buyers might like to know.Colors are vibrant. Not too waxy. Smaller 5gan expected.Sidenote, if you have a BLW baby, watch them closely. They're perfect snack sized! My 2 yr old loves his Crayola My First Egg Crayons but we only have the 3 color set. This set has all the colors. He was able to easily color with them with his chunky hands. They are smaller than the Crayola ones but considering neither of my kids eat crayons (they tried it and didnt like it) and there is always parental supervision, I am ok with it. I would consider larger ones for toddlers that like sticking things in their mouths.I wish I had payed more attention to the choking hazard warnings. The description is very conflicting, the top of the headline it says they are for 1 year olds, the written description says 2 years old, the item details say “manufacturers recommendation; 3 months”.The package says 3yrs +I have a 1and a half year old and there is no way I’m giving these to her.I’m debating sending them back just upon principle, when she is 3, an egg shape won’t be nearly as necessary. I wanted something big and holdable for my daughter so she could scribble. Do not, give these to your child. These are extremely dangerous. My 18 month old always stole her brother’s crayons which led to them breaking. She needed her own crayons. The eggs are a great size for her grip. They color nicely. The box doubles as a container. We are pleased with the purchase.Got this for our 14m old. He's too young to draw but he loves to play with the crayons for now. They're of a good size where aren't that small and dangerous (please still supervise). The unique shape is great for the baby's development and learning of the world and shapes. My 15 month old does a great job holding these. they are seriously the perfect size. I like that the box has crevices to easily hold each piece so they're not knocking around in the box getting broken. We have only had them about a week so I cant say how long they last but honestly they dont look like they're wearing down much at all! I along with my daughter am very happy with these
