They include microcrystalline waxes, stearin (plant based waxes), beeswax, and synthetic organic and/or synthetic inorganic color pigment. Stockmar crayons are harmless to your health and to the environment (they are non-toxic). With supervision and care, these crayons will last for years and years. Each crayon measures 3 1/4" in length and is 1/2" diameter and comes in a hinged tin for easy storage. Made in Germany.
