The soft watercolor pictures by Marjan van Zeyl follow the child’s journey into sleep, through the night, and to waking in the morning.

Marjan van Zeyl was born in Amsterdam. A prolific artist, she has illustrated numerous books for children, including The Apple Cake; Dora Duck and the Juicy Pears; The Tree That Grew Through the Roof; and Little Red Riding-Hood.
