Easy to clean and great for indoor or balcony use.My first caveat: put this on a non-slip mat before introducing your dog to it. We put it on our tile floor and when my girl stepped on it, it slid out from under her, and she was freaked out. Wouldn't use it for several days until a puppy visitor on the other side of the fenced porch got her standing on it accidentally (after I'd put a pad under it). It's no problem now...except that the thing smells to high heaven. sitting outside in this summer heat. I've tried several different spray products, soap and hot water, giving it a good rinse multiple times a day after dumping the tray. Honestly, ideal would probably be rinsing it immediately every time she goes, if I could monitor it that often. Still, it does the job, for a dog used to a grassy yard now banished to an apartment with a small concrete patio. We're working on getting a temporary doggy door so she can let herself in and out to use it, too. She does like it now, though. She's even lounged on it a few times. (She REALLY misses grass.)I watched the video and when they showed the video, it had a binding around it. I bought 2 and was quite upset then I got 2 se and either on of them had the binding. That is such a good idea. To bad you were not honest.I bought this because it became a problem for our pup to pee outside during the wintertime. She’d rather have accidents at home! This toilet changed the whole situation. The grass patch is thick and soft that she’s willing to step on it. We put a pee pee pad with her urine beneath the grass patch at first so she can recognize her new toilet. While we had a couple of accidents at the beginning, she finally gets it! Our pup used to enjoying chewing on pee pee pad, but she doesn’t seem to have a strong interest in chewing her new toilet now since we put the pee pee pad into the drawer after she gets used to it and she can’t reach it. She used to pee on the grass when the weather permits so she doesn’t seem to like chewing the grass patch. And the design is good that she won’t tilt it upside down easily, which is one of her game for her previous toilet. In general, we like this product and the material is strong enough that as long as our pup doesn’t regard it as a chew toy, it could serve as her toilet for a long time.Purchased just in case for my young dog. I had two senior dogs with health issues who needed pee pads I had made my sun room one big bathroom with pee pairs. When they passed with in 2weeks of each other, I was able to reclaim my room but I was nervous as my young dog (2 yrs) had also used this giant bathroom. So not sure if she would take to just doing her business outside in fenced yard, which she has. This has served as emergency back up and only used when storms are present. But if needed for all the time would work well. I but a folded in half pee pad on top of the artificial grass was she was use to going on them but with the untray really not needed and the grass top tray is nice looking besides its functionNeat concept but my dog would not use it. It looked very easy to clean and was built well.Like many, I was skeptical. Would my dog use this? All I can say, is it was a godsend.Just moved into an apartment after having sold our home. Our dog - a 10 lb mix - had always done her business outside on the grass, in a large yard. Did not want to go do three stories every few hours, so got this and put it on the balcony.First time, put on the harness, opened the door, and gave the command. She went right over, did her business, and it has been that way ever since.I put toilet paper in the drain tray. captures the mess, and I can just dump into the toilet, rinse, replace the TP, and we are good. Almost like a cat, but better. It was so great to have my dog just know to go potty on this.
