My 1yo is loving books with any element of reveal. He also loves Elmo, so this book was a no brainer. I really like that it’s written to grow with the child; the pages include additional interactive prompts outside of the story. You read about Cookie Monster joining Elmo and Abby, but then see a line elsewhere on the page, “How many cookies are on Cookie Monsters basket?” We were entertained by lifting flaps this year but I like that next year we’ll have something else to do using the same book.
